Professor Mary Rudolf
Paediatric Director

Professor Mary Rudolf is a consultant paediatrician in Leeds PCT and Professor of Child Health at Leeds University. She holds an NHS Clinical Excellence Award for her contribution to research and education. Over the last 10 years her focus has been on childhood obesity, and she has developed a clinical service in Leeds along with WATCH IT, a successful community programme for obese children. She was an editor on the Dead Sea International Consensus on Childhood Obesity, a member of the Department of Health Expert Advisory Group on Monitoring Obesity, and a co-opted expert to the NICE Obesity Guideline Development Group.
Candida Hunt
Programme Director

Candida Hunt is a parenting educator and training consultant who specialises in healthy lifestyle and childhood obesity prevention. She was a founding director of the parenting charity Family Links, and author of The Parenting Puzzle – How to Get the Best out of Family Life (Family Links, 2003), the Nurturing Programme coursebook. She also developed Warwick University’s Families for Health programme, and runs a private counselling practice.

Jackie George
Programme Lead

Jackie is an experienced project manager and trainer. Her career has focused on working with parents and families across both statutory ands voluntary organisations. In 2005, she gained an Early Years Foundation Degree; this combined with her experience has made her a skilled practitioner in early child development. In her role as Senior Parent Support Worker, for a national parent support charity, she designed programmes and trained facilitators to support parents and their families. She is now able to use this wealth of experience and focus on childhood obesity in the HENRY approach.
