Are you passionate about babies and young children having the best start in life?

HENRY is an innovative and flourishing national charity that is making a real difference to the lives of young children and their families. HENRY is working in partnership with Better Start Bradford to run group and 1-to-1 Cooking programmes for parents and carers of young children.

We are seeking a Facilitator to work with HENRY’s Cooking for a Better Start Coordinator to deliver HENRY’s cookery programme face to face and online in the three wards of Better Start Bradford (Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor and Little Horton)

Working alongside parents you will support them to develop not only cooking skills, knowledge and confidence over the course of the programme, but also to build knowledge and create the conditions for wider lifestyle change within the family, such as reducing consumption of unhealthy snacks, offering children appropriate portion sizes, and being more active.

Your passion for working with families and cooking as well as skills and experience will mean you are well placed to deliver the programmes as well as working alongside the project coordinator to build collaborative relationships with internal and external colleagues and community partners.

You will have an empathic and caring approach which supports families to give their children the best start in life.  HENRY is an organisation with a strong culture rooted in development, self-reflection, partnership and learning.

This role is based at Woodroyd Centre, Woodroyd Road, Bradford, BD5 8EL (currently working from home).
