HENRY in Bradford
Better Start is an exciting ten year Big Lottery funded programme to improve outcomes for children through prevention and early intervention projects with 0-3 year olds and their families. HENRY is working in partnership with Better Start Bradford. Our experience in delivering effective, evidence-based family programmes means we are well placed to support parents in these crucial early years to develop and maintain healthy lifestyles for the whole family.
HENRY is running group and 1-to-1 Healthy Families programmes for parents and carers of young children. We’re also training volunteers to support families in Better Start Bradford communities as well as providing training for practitioners and child care settings working in the area.
The Cooking for a Better Start project, also run by HENRY, helps parents learn to cook cheap, healthy meals for their family.
HENRY in Waltham Forest
Best Start with HENRY is an innovative parent and family service commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. Through the Children and Family Centres we are working in partnership with Lloyd Park Children’s Charity and the local NHS Foundation Trust.
The HENRY team provides skilled and accessible support to local families from birth to starting school - including infant feeding, healthy eating, oral health and speech and language development.
HENRY in City & Hackney
Commissioned by the City of London and the London Borough of Hackney, the Best Start with HENRY service supports hundreds of local families with children aged 0-5 – from shortly after birth, right through to starting school – to provide a healthy, happy start in life for their children and the whole family.
We provide a range of family services, including drop-in workshops and longer programmes.
