Hello, my name’s Faye and I’m the service lead for HENRY in Southend.

I’ve been a midwife at Southend Hospital since 2014, working in all areas of maternity, from community settings, to the antenatal, labour and postnatal ward. Most of my time was spent supporting amazing families on the midwife-led birthing unit. I have facilitated group programmes including the hypnobirthing programme at Southend Hospital.

I joined HENRY in January 2020 and have been involved in setting up the exciting Preparation for Parenthood service.

My passion has always been empowering and inspiring confidence in women and families, to birth in a way that they will be proud of.

I’ll be facilitating many of the Preparation for Parenthood programmes alongside Carole – I look forward to seeing you there. ?
