Family Nutrition Facilitator

0.6 FTE fixed-term contract to 30 September 2021
£23,391 - £26,342 (pro rata) plus up to 6% matched pension contribution
We are seeking a passionate, community-based Family Nutrition Facilitator in Lambeth. The role will ensure that local families with children 0-3 years are able to engage in community workshops and a flexible 1-to-1 service so all families have access to nutritional information, guidance and support, giving children a healthy start and a brighter future.
As a facilitator you will provide support and guidance to parents and carers so their families lead a healthy lifestyle, feeling motivated and equipped with the skills and strategies to make changes and achieve their goals, building parenting skills and confidence in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. You will work alongside local families and community partners so that all families have access to nutritional information, guidance and support, giving children a healthy start and a brighter future. This position will work in community sites across the LEAP areas of Coldharbor, Stockwell, Tulse Hill and Vassal communities in Lambeth.
