Trustee Vacancy

Would you like to help us make a difference to children’s futures?

HENRY is a thriving national charity that is working to overcome inequalities by helping children get off to a healthy start in life.

Over the last 12 years we have developed a reputation for high-quality and evidence-based interventions, training over 15,000 practitioners and supporting over 20,000 families across the UK. HENRY is making a real difference, enabling positive family change such as improved nutrition, increased physical activity for the whole family and happier, closer family relationships.

As a number of long-serving Trustees have reached or are nearing the end of their tenure, we are aiming to recruit up to 5 new Trustees between now and next October.

We are looking for people with a genuine interest in the work of HENRY and a commitment to helping us develop and grow. We are keen to ensure that our Trustees are representative of the communities in which we work and warmly welcome applications from people from diverse ethnic backgrounds and people with disabilities. To complement the expertise of our existing Trustees, applicants will ideally have lived experience of HENRY’s work as a parent or practitioner or experience of public health commissioning/delivery. If you haven’t been a Trustee before, please don’t let that put you off as you will be provided with plenty of support.

For more information about the role please see this letter from the Chair and application pack. To apply please complete the application form and equal opportunities forms and return to sue.iddon@henry.org.uk.

This is an unpaid position, with reimbursement of expenses where required.
