With a career that spans NHS and voluntary sector management, Kim became HENRY’s Chief Executive in April 2012. A parent of three herself, Kim is passionate about helping children to have the best start in life. She has a professional background in parenting, family support and early development.
She is the author of Early Learning Matters, a good practice guide, commissioned by the Department for Children, Schools and Families in 2009 and co-author with Professor Mary Rudolf of A Healthy Start; a best practice handbook for health and early years practitioners. Kim’s mission is to transform traditional approaches to obesity and respond to the strategic need for prevention. “We know that, once established, obesity is notoriously difficult to turn around in the long term. Getting alongside families right from the start and helping them embed healthy lifestyle choices before excess weight gain is established is crucial.” She is a regular speaker at health and early years events and contributor to radio, TV and print media.
Director of Operations
Anne joined HENRY as Director of Operations in April 2019. She brings a breadth of experience from the NHS, local authority and charity sectors, managing services for children, young people and adults, starting her working life as a children’s Speech and Language Therapist.
She has a Masters in Healthcare Leadership and supports the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists in writing professional guidelines.
Anne is delighted to be working at HENRY with its commitment to family relationships and parent-child interaction, enabling children to get the best start in life.
She helps teams to develop and to transform family-centred services, integrating across departments and organisations, so that the experience of families is joined up and of a high quality.
Head of Partnerships and Business Development
Tom has 15 years’ experience in strategy, income generation and partnership development in the charity sector having worked across environmental, social welfare, and education charities. He has developed major cross-sector strategic partnerships and has helped significantly grow HENRY’s reach and revenue in recent years.
Tom joined HENRY in 2013 as a member of the Senior Management Team and leads on working with local commissioners to bring HENRY to their local area through a diverse range of service delivery models. He oversees the delivery of HENRY’s ‘Partnership Model’ whereby HENRY trains local practitioners to deliver HENRY family support interventions in their area and provides ongoing support for implementation.
Head of Service Delivery
Edwina joined HENRY as our Business Development Manager bringing complementary and innovative approaches to securing new business. She has an MA in the Management of Innovation and Change and has worked extensively and strategically within and across all sectors delivering and developing early years and families services.
Edwina is now leading our direct service delivery co-designing, implementing and delivering grant-funded projects to ensure they are effectively managed to achieve positive outcomes for young children, families and communities. Edwina is our Safeguarding lead, committed to equality of opportunity and passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families.
Head of Finance
Ian has over 30 years’ experience in finance and administration having worked across the housing, health and charity sectors. He has led in the development of systems and finance teams from their early beginnings to becoming established within organisations.
Ian joined the HENRY team in 2017 and joined the senior management team in 2019.
