HENRY uses the acronym ‘PULSE’ to incorporate the different, holistic aspects of a healthy start: Physical, Understanding, Language, Social, Emotional. Our PULSE chart is a visual aid to supporting parents to reflect on the extent to which they are meeting their child’s needs (using the expression ‘taking the PULSE’) and what else they could do to meet them.
