The day-to-day pressures of family life can be stressful and exhausting. Parents often say they’re so busy they don’t have time for themselves or feel guilty if they take time for themselves. But recharging our batteries is actually a good thing, as we find we are more patient with children, less likely to give in to their demands, and able to juggle everything better.
